This program was designed to help new and expectant fathers tackle the everyday challenges of being a father. It will help fathers learn ways to support their child/ren and families and start your family off with a strong foundation.

The Ohio Commission on Fatherhood is partnering with four established fatherhood programs that are experienced in working with fathers:

Who Can Participate?

  • New and expectant fathers
  • Adult fathers with at least one child age one or younger
  • Young fathers age 16-25 regardless of the age of your children

Need Help With Child Care or Transportation?

Our program can provide childcare and gas cards or bus passes to help you participate

What Fathers will Receive:

  • Help finding and keeping a job
  • Classes on how to care for a new baby, child development and how to be a good father
  • Coaching on how to manage your money and repair your credit
  • Learn how to communicate better with the mother of your child
  • Incentives including gift cards, port-a-cribs and other items related to caring for your new baby
