Program Information

Program Information

Passages, Inc., is a faith-based, nonprofit community organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for children, fathers and mothers.  It provides self-improvement resources that inspire and empower individuals to lead the lives they most desire.

Mission:

To ensure that no child is without a nurturing, engaged and loving father and mother and that each parent fully grasps that the most important thing they will ever accomplish in life is rearing a child who understands his or her relationship with the world and has the ability to contribute in a positive way.

Services:

Passages provides services throughout Northeast Ohio.  Workforce training programs teach real-world job interviewing and work skills that allow fathers to pursue viable careers.  Passages collaborates with Edwinds Leadership and Restaurant Institute to provide six-month training opportunities for individuals interested in culinary arts.

Fatherhood enrichment classes are offered Mondays and Wednesdays.  Each class last for 90 minutes, and 12 classes are required for a certificate of completion. Classes teach the following:

  • Life Skills
  • Child Support
  • Employment
  • Parenting Skills
  • Legal Services
