The mission of Williams Challenge, founded in 1998, is to make young men and women better people, and to annually provide college scholarships to in-need and high-achieving youth. In 2006, Williams Challenge broadened its scope and started the Man2Man Fatherhood Initiative with the mission to teach at-risk and absent fathers the skills they need to mature as men, learn their role in the family, and make them more nurturing, present fathers.
The organization's vision is to break the cycles of incarceration and poverty among generations by creating stronger families.
The organization is based upon the values of integrity, collaboration, respect, and commitment to improving the quality of life in our community for all.
The Commission Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. It will be a Virtual Microsoft Teams Meeting..
