Biography

Mike Davis currently serves as chief of The Office of Offender Reentry and Enterprise Development for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC). It is the responsibility of this office to guide and monitor reentry related programs and initiatives. Designated staff are assigned initiatives including volunteers, family, reentry planning and assessments, housing, offender programming, community partnerships, and offender workforce development.

  

Prior to his current appointment Mike has served in several other positions over the course of his career. These positions include: Deputy Warden, Deputy Communications Chief, and Assistant Administrator in the Office of Victim Services. His career in public service also includes serving as the Crime Prevention Coordinator in the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services.

   

Mike has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Central State University, and a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Tiffin University. He obtained his PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. He and his wife live in Columbus with their daughter and two sons.
