Biography
Tarik White is an educational consultant for the Ohio Department of Education and has more than 21 years of experience as a classroom teacher, administrator, advocate, leader, presenter and mentor for young people. He has provided targeted management, policy recommendations and programmatic support for government education agencies, trade associations and nonprofit groups both within and beyond Columbus.
A Columbus native, White is a graduate of Columbus City Schools, and his professional career began as a Columbus City Schools teacher. He also held leadership roles at Columbus State Community College.
White holds a bachelor's degree in biology and secondary education from Kentucky State and a master's degree in education policy and leadership from Antioch University. He is a proud single father of two, his son Noah and daughter Londyn.
